100% Women owned and operated. In 1970 Premiums was started by Wilma Ashburn. In the changing times and opportunities Premiums first became certified MBE in 1985. At this time Lois Knecht ( Daughter) came into the business. In 1996 the company was passed to Lois whom is now sole owner and has brought the company to where it is today. In May 2011, Premiums received the Woman Owned Business Award from Baltimore County Minority and Women Business Enterprise Commission for our Outstanding Business Achievements. In 2017 Lauren Jones (Granddaughter of Wilma) joined the company on day to day operations. We hope to continue providing goods and services to the Electrical Construction Industry.

Lois Knecht is the owner and operator of the business since 1996. She is also responsible for all quotes and job procurements. Her experience in the industry paired with her connections made throughout the years has helped her drive the business to the success it has reached today.
